Pramod is an Associate Professor at the Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has completed his Master's in Design in Product Design specialization and PhD in the area of design for resource-constrained populations. He heads the Behaviour Informed Design for Development (BiD4D) lab and intends to reduce the negative influences of human behavior on society, culture, nature, and technology. He researches and practices in the areas of Behavioural Design, Design for resource-constrained populations, and Rural Technology. Pramod also works on the design theory and methodology associated with Behavioural Design. He is a Marie Curie fellow and has published in leading design journals. He worked as a professional designer in the automotive sector before starting his research career.
