Join Behavioural -informed Design for Development (BiD4D) Lab and contribute to interdisciplinary research at the intersection of behavioural design, human behaviour, technology, and society. Our internships offer students and early-career researchers the opportunity to work on real-world projects that address complex challenges across domains such as healthcare, climate, public policy, education, and digital systems.
As an intern, you will collaborate with faculty, PhD scholars, and researchers throughout the research process from literature reviews and study design to data collection, analysis, prototyping, and the development of behavioural interventions. Depending on the project, interns may also contribute to design research, user studies, visual communication, experimentation, and technology-enabled research.
We welcome applications from motivated students and recent graduates with backgrounds in design, cognitive science, psychology, HCI, engineering, computer science, social sciences, public health, or related disciplines. We value curiosity, critical thinking, initiative, and a genuine interest in understanding human behaviour through research and design.
Hands-on experience in interdisciplinary research
Mentorship from faculty and experienced researchers
Exposure to real-world research projects and collaborations
Opportunities to contribute to publications, presentations, and design outcomes where applicable
A collaborative and intellectually engaging research environment
Internship opportunities are announced throughout the year based on ongoing projects. Open positions, eligibility criteria, duration, and application deadlines will be listed on this page. Applicants are typically required to submit a CV, a brief statement of interest, and any additional materials specified in the individual call. We encourage curious, thoughtful, and motivated individuals to join us in exploring how behavioural design can create meaningful impact.
